Daytime Swordfishing

We are offering an exciting unique experience to our clients with daytime swordfishing. We started in the fall of 2018 and we have had great success, with our largest fish weighing in at 427 lbs and our best day catching 6!

Dropping new lines

In late July of 2019, we started dropping with some of our charters and had a phenomenal season with our five largest Swords weighing in at 277lb, 290lb, 302lb, 315lb, a 369lb, and a 180lb Big Eye.

Sword Fighting

These fish are caught on the bottom, fishing depths of 1200-1500 using either Lingren Pitman 1200 (electric) or Hookers with a detachable Shimano for those that prefer to hand crank. At this time, we would call the season July through December, however little is known about this fishery out of Oregon Inlet. We do feel as though they are here year-round, we just need to find them.

Quality Catches

This style of fishing is more weather-sensitive than trolling. We carry our gear with us every day so if interested in trying a drop, please let us know.
